On September 12th, 2019, the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), leader of the WP3 of EnhanceMicroAlgae project, organised the first edition of Sciencepreneurs, gathering several teams that are focused on developing innovative technologies to solve some of the global grand challenges.
During the event, organized by INL and Startup Braga, and powered by the EnhanceMicroAlgae and Fuel projects, eight science-based Startups presented groundbreaking solutions to investors and evaluators, showcasing creative applications of Key Enabling Technologies. Among the enterpreneurs were present Alejandra Sabín López and María Paredes Ramos from See the Bind, one of the teams participating in the EnhanceMicroAlgae startup supporting program. See the Bind presented advanced computational tools to optimise the isolation of high added-value compounds from microalgae.
